I have been a bit slack with the updates of late but i assure you all orders are going out with regularity. I have been busy starting Brisbanes newest rocknroll hole the live venue “The Primitive” well anyway back to turkey times the shrewms album is out and getting around the place and the Lobsters have a terrific review from the mighty Julian Cope on his head heritage website The Vaginabillies album is almost done and Fred negro has been motioning towards the Fruit loop city reissue. There have been talks with Steve Lucas (from the Mighty X) about a solo album called Change Poison and a possible solo career retrospective so things have been quite busy.
We’ve been dumped by fuse music as our australian distributor but all releases are available through good indie stores in most capitals and from our good friends at Citadel Mailorder

These fine bastards have been kicking around the pubs clubs and other shitholes in Brisbane for the last seven or eight years. Playing their heavy handed gutter punk, led by a drummer who sings, they wield a kick arse guitarist and a bass player who looks like he just stepped out of 70's english doom band. Taking reference points from The Powder Monkeys, Bored, New Christs with the menace of X and The Dead Boys. This new album "Brisbane Doghouse" will pound you in the head. Some Jerks are a relatively new brisbane garage surf three piece featuring the delightful and sweet Victoria Watson leading this adorable combo. Drawing influence from the Cramps, 60's surf and all the great girl garage they really kick some fuckin ass Victoria's voice canreally belt em out when she wants. These guys have been in other great brisbane bands over the years including the Aampirellas, Fondelles, Kewpie Doll and Los Heuvos this new band does not disappoint and neither does their debut eponymous ep recorded by Darek Mudge in some tin shed in Brisbane and mixed and mastered by Kramer as in Bongwater/Shockabilly with excellent results so check out the shop page because its cheap as chips. Screamin' Stevie's Australia is back with a new album "She Just Wants to Dance"
Within a year of his last outing the man in the Cape is back. With the same band and one Brian Mann leading the production. They have nailed what they were heading for on the last album. The sound is thick and unique and very australian ala Sunnyboys.
